Life and times of Me

Hey y’all!! I’m Kelly lynn and welcome to my side of the world. I am 39 years old and I have 2 girls which are 17 years old and 5 years old and they are extremely close for having such a large difference in age. I also have a 2 year old granddaughter which I was blessed by my 17 year old. I have been disabled since 2010 when I had my spine surgery in January of that year. Little did I know 2 years later I would be needing another spine surgery due to the fact that my first surgeon severely screwed up my surgery. The reason for my spine surgeries, You might ask?? I was born with a congenital birth defect which I will get into later in a blog post and that is the main reason I started this blog post because I had never heard of it and quite possible others haven’t.

I also suffer from several other health problems that cause me a great deal of pain each and every day as well as other health issues that make daily life a bit rough at times.

I have I guess what my family would call an addiction or obsession for all things paper planner, pens, stickers, and so. Well, I guess I can agree with them because there is what we call a community on Facebook that I belong too and everyone has a love for Traveler’s Notebooks and paper inserts that could be our monthly, weekly or even daily schedules, a love for all kinds of pens and stickers. Now, a quick explanation regarding this. I was in another one of my I guess you could call depression or bipolar lows and I happen to go on facebook and stumbled upon this. Now, I really needed something like this in my life because all I did was talk about either my pain or my back surgeries. I have since made a lot of friends and found something else to talk about and do other than my pain and surgeries.

However, my girls and my granddaughter are the most important things in my life and while I have had a rough go since I won my disability case, it has taken me awhile to realize that each and every day is just as important as the one before and if we don’t take advantage of each and every minute we just might miss something important.

Lastly, don’t take advantage of the idea that there will always be a tomorrow because you never know how long later will last.

Kelly Lynn
